Conveniently located just 12 miles outside of Carson City, Dayton State Park is beautiful spot to call home. With rocky cliffs out your back door each morning, you'll savor the serenity and convenience of this gorgeous State Park. Tents and RVs are welcome here. Carson River runs through the park and fishing spots and hiking trails are available to all campers. A dump station is also located on the grounds.

This is an RV-only campground located in Reno. Located across from the historic Peppermill Casino, Silver Sage has 43 full-featured RV sites on the grounds, all with cable, phone, fax and modem hookups. Laundry and shower facilities, two picnic and barbecue areas and gated security, make this an easy place to pull into and crash for the night.

This is an extremely remote State Park which borders the Dixie National Forest. There are 2,400 acres in all here, a river, forest, and mountaintop background. The area is primitive and wildlife sightings are common. 33 campsites are on the grounds and all are wheelchair accessible.

Encompassing 83,000 acres of desert land, the popular Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area is a huge playground for serious campers. The Wilson Cliffs are a big draw for climbers and hikers looking for a challenge. Camping is available in many spots throughout this region. Prices and locations vary, and listings are available at the visitor's center.

This is the largest national forest outside Alaska, measuring some 4 million acres. Varied elevations and surroundings make this a gorgeous place to set up a tent for the night. Biking, fishing, cross country skiing, horseback riding and canoeing are also available on over 1, 100 miles of trails. Call for reservations.

This is a nice setup! There are 137 full hook-up sites at Hi Desert, over half of them featuring grassy pull pull-thrus for the big rigs. A free shuttle bus will take you to and from local casinos and areas of interest. On the grounds, you'll have access to a heated pool, spa, game room, playground, and cable TV. If it's possible to be pampered while camping, this is it!

With the mountains at your back and a range of outdoor activities available, athletes and families will enjoy more than just the view at Bordertown Resort. Mountain biking, motorcycling, 4-wheeling and hiking over thousands of mountain trails are the draw here. There are 50 sites open to RVs and tents.

This is a popular Nevada campground, so expect lots of people. Fishing, hiking and swimming are all available within the park's boundaries. Wildlife viewing is a popular activity here. Echo Canyon Park caters to both tenters and those driving in an RV. Some full hook-up sites are available, but it's best to call and reserve them before making the drive. With an elevation level of 5, 200 feet, winter campers will receive occasional snow showers.
